Bulletin of the Caucasian Department of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society

Izvestiya Kavkazskogo Otdela Imperatorskogo Russkogo Geograficheskogo Obshchestva (Bulletin of the Caucasian Department of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society), the periodical scientific printed organ of the Caucasian Department of the Imperial Russian Geographical Society. It was mainly published in Tbilisi. Book I was published in 1872. The subsequent books were printed every 1–2 years in parts, as separate fascicles. Until 1917, a total of 25 books were published. It primarily printed reports on the administrative-organizational activity of the department and the results of scientific-research work conducted by its members, critical and bibliographic articles, periodical publications, reports read at general meetings, and others. Both Georgian scientists and foreign scientists active in Georgia actively collaborated in the publication: D. Z. Bakradze, K. Borozdin, D. P. Gedevanishvili, D. Gersevanov, N. Dinnik, R.
