Kviriketsminda Church of Saints Kvirike and Ivlita

The Kviriketsminda Church of Saints Kvirike and Ivlita is an architectural monument dating to the 10th–11th centuries, located in the village of Kviriketsminda (formerly Korti, Ambrolauri Municipality).

The church is a three-nave basilica, representing the only extant example of this architectural type in the Racha region. The monument underwent renovation during the 16th–17th centuries. Within this three-nave structure, the central nave is significantly higher and wider than the lateral naves. The facades are faced with well-hewn limestone blocks of various dimensions. The church sustained severe damage during the 1991 earthquake; it has currently been fully restored.
