Iason

Jason, Iason (Ancient Greek: άσων, Etruscan: Easum), a hero of Greek mythology and the son of Aeson, the king of Iolcus. Aeson entrusted his son to the Greek centaur Chiron to raise him. The latter reportedly bestowed the name Jason (meaning "healer") upon the child.

Upon reaching manhood, Jason demanded the return of his rightful royal throne from Pelias. In exchange, he was tasked with fulfilling an immensely difficult mission: obtaining the Golden Fleece from Colchis. For this purpose, with the assistance of the goddess Athena, he constructed the ship Argo, started an expedition to Colchis, and successfully returned from there with the Golden Fleece.
